The S/L/A/M Collaborative is a 150-member architecture, engineering and planning firm with headquarters in Glastonbury, Conn., and additional offices in Atlanta and Boston. Established in 1976, the firm specializes in the planning and design of healthcare, educational, science and technology and corporate facilities. Its services include master planning, architectural design, landscape architecture, interior design, structural engineering and construction management services. S/L/A/M s completed projects include: Hospital of San Raphael in Providence, R.I.; Harvard University residence hall renovations in Cambridge, Mass.; University of Notre Dame Chemistry Research Center in South Bend, Ind.; and Hamden High School in Hamden, Conn. Its work on the Montclair State University Academic Building earned the company the Merit Award in the institutional category at the 42nd Annual New Jersey Concrete Awards competition.
