Welcome to the Silver Maple Lodge!From season to season, Vermont offers a wealth of diversions, discoveries, and delights. And at our home, the Silver Maple Lodge and Cottages, a bed and breakfast country inn, we offer traditional Vermont hospitality for those who want to experience the best of the Green Mountain State - or for those who simply want to spend a few days of leisure, relaxing and unwinding.The Silver Maple Lodge and Cottages is one of Vermont's oldest continuously operating country inns. The centerpiece of our historic property is an antique farmhouse dating to the late 1700's, which was expanded in the Victorian-style in the mid 1800's. The inn, which first opened its doors to travelers in the 1920's, has been restored and refurbished. Our look is fresh but the lodge is filled with many of the inn's original antique furnishings and exposed 200 year old hand-hewn beams remain. You may choose from eight clean and cozy rooms in the original farmhouse, or one of seven handsome knotty pine cottage rooms. Thirteen of our 15 rooms offer private baths. All of the cottage rooms have small refrigerators and microwaves and two include kitchenettes. Three of the cottage rooms also have working fireplaces. Each morning enjoy continental breakfast - highlighted by home-baked cinnamon rolls - served in our dining room. In warm weather, some guests adjourn outside, to relax in a rustic Adirondack chair on the huge wrap-around screened porch or under a shade tree with a cup of tea or coffee.Visit us online, or give us a call for your reservation today!
