Founded in 1922, Shriners Hospitals for Children is a health care system that provides medical services for children up to the age of 18. The nonprofit system is comprised of more than 20 hospitals in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Its hospitals offer treatment for burns, spinal cord injuries and orthopedic conditions.
