At Murrayhill Chiropractic, care is tailored to each patient. Dr. Sherman, has practiced for over 30 years. He is experienced in a wide variety of chiropractic techniques. (See Below for description of his primary technique, SOT) He has personally trained with renowned chiropractic developers, including: Major M.B. Dejarnette, J. Clay Thompson, Ted Carrick, I.N. Toftness, Richard Van Rumpt, Lowell Ward, and utilizes combinations and various components/concepts from their methods of analysis and treatment. Many of the methods used do not involve forceful manipulation, but utilize more gentle, manual and mechanical means of assisting patients. Dr. Sherman is conscientious of some patient?s avoidance of the ?cracking? or ?popping? that is often associated with chiropractic and offers many alternate methods in addition to the traditional methods. Read below about the primary chiropractic technique used by Dr. Sherman. Automobile crash related injuries or injuries sustained in or about your insured vehicle are covered 100% for treatment by a chiropractic physician. No referral is necessary. Work related injuries are 100% covered for care provided by a chiropractic physician for 60 days or 18 visits whichever comes first. We maintain strong associations with many medical specialists in the Portland metro area in the event medical testing, or referral is necessary. We are contracted providers (in-network) for the following insurance companies: Blue Cross Blue Shield Providence Cigna Aetna HealthNet Lifewise ODS Medicare As a courtesy to our patients we will bill all other insurance companies as an out-of-network provider.
