My passion is to help seniors remain in their own homes for as long as possible. There are many services, products, organizations that can assist the senior to remain independent but again, for as long as possible. Let the nursing home be the very last resort. Let me tell you what a senior can do to maintain this independence for a longer period of time. Some ideas are: Assistive Technology, Home modification loans, Devices that signal for help, Medication Dispensors, Reverse Mortgages, Long Term Care Insurance, Home Delivery of Food, Home Safety, County Transit System, Senior Centers, In home care services, etc. I can also provide guidance and suggestions with Assisted Living Facilities based on desires versus income. If the need arises, nursing homes as well. Don't wait before it is too late, think about the future!
