Capital Dialysis of Texas was formed by a group of physicians to develop model kidney care delivery system for Central Texas. Established in 1998, it provides treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease. The center is affiliated with CARR Dialysis, and has provided care for more than 500 patients on hemodialysis. Additionally, Capital Dialysis has a peritoneal dialysis program that trains and manages more than 50 patients on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis or continuous cycling peritoneal dialysis. It treats dialysis patients above 16 years of age. The center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, health maintenance organizations, and other commercial-type insurance plans. Capital Dialysis of Texas has established outpatient dialysis centers at locations in Austin, San Marcos and Round Rock, Texas.
