Sarah Christine “Christi” James, CNM, APRN, completed her Associate Degree in Nursing at Valencia Community College in 2008 and began her career as a medical surgical nurse at Dr. Phillips Hospital. In 2010, she found her calling as a nurse in women’s services at Winnie Palmer Hospital providing postpartum and newborn care and later moving to labor and delivery. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Central Florida in 2016 followed by her Master of Science in Nursing and midwifery certification at Frontier Nursing University in 2019. She joined our esteemed midwifery team along with her colleagues at Heart of Florida OB/GYN Associates when the practice became part of AdventHealth Medical Group in 2020.
