Rx-Safety.com is a family-owned and -run optical lab and internet store. Our goal is to provide our customers with affordable, top-of-the-line prescription safety eyewear. We know that the average working American is doing their best to get by and save a few dollars wherever possible. It is our goal to make eyewear affordable so that our customers don't have to break the bank to get a pair of glasses for work or play. We also strongly believe that safety should not be sacrificed to save a few bucks, and we are proud to offer the highest quality safety eyewear and precision optics at prices that are well below the competition's.The way we manage to keep our safety eyewear so affordable is simple: we do our own work. Our full prescription optical lab allows us to process almost all of our prescriptions in-house, where most of the competition has to purchase prescription lenses from an outside lab. Since we cut out the middle man, we are able to offer our customers significantly reduced prices compared to the competition, even on advanced or complicated prescription glasses such as wraparounds or motorcycle glasses with removable facial cavity seals. On top of that, our prescription optical lab features some of the most advanced technology, including a full line of CNC edging machines and an advanced CNC generator. We are able to produce hundreds of pairs of prescription lenses a week thanks to our committed staff and array of prescription generators, polishers, edgers, and coating machines.Our company is a family in more ways than one. Our owners - Robert Phillips and his son, Ryan Phillips - launched Rx-Safety.com in 2001 in Middlesex, NJ, after the Phillips family had already been in the optical industry for almost 100 years. in 2001, the company had four employees (including the owners) and ran only a few jobs a day. Today, our company has grown to over 40 employees and we ship between 100 and 200 packages daily. We are proud of our ability to produce high-quality prescription safety glasses in a timely manner, and it's all thanks to our loyal and dedicated team. Rx-Safety encourages a "family" atmosphere, because we know that our team's positive attitude and dedication is what will keep us growing. Our employees are our strength, and we would not have grown to where we are today if it wasn't for them.
