In 1921, George and his brother Bud Rutter the Rutter brothers, founded Rutter s Farm Stores. They distributed their farm products from a horse-drawn wagon to their customers in the beginning. The company opened its additional outlet for the sale of Rutter s dairy products in 1967 and has grown into a chain of more than 50 stores.
