Michael A. Robinson founded Robinson Law with the mission of providing affordable legal services to the greater Northern Virginia Area. Before founding Robinson Law, Michael worked as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for both the City of Newport News and Fauquier County. Throughout his career as a prosecutor, Michael prosecuted felony, misdemeanor and traffic cases in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts, the General District Courts, as well as in the Circuit Courts. As a defense attorney, Michael frequently is appointed by the courts to represent adults and juveniles in criminal matters. Throughout his career, Michael has prosecuted and defended over 1,000 criminal cases. If you are an adult or a juvenile, charged with a felony, misdemeanor or traffic violation, Michael has the experience to handle your case.Aside from criminal law, Michael also represents clients in family law matters including: divorce, spousal support, and child support and child custody battles. As a certified Guardian Ad Litem for children, he understands the emotional and physical toll divorce can have on children, and seeks timely and amicable resolution for his clients.
