The organization is one of the largest guiding services in the United States offering climbs throughout the world. Rainier Mountaineering guides have led more than 300 expeditions on all continents and over 30 of them at the top of Mount Everest. Its guides lead a variety of expeditions on Mount McKinley peak and Mount Rainier peak, which is a glaciated volcanic peak. Rainier Mountaineering follows various safety techniques against avalanche, ice and rock falls, crevasse fall, inclement weather and storms.
