Founded in 1872, Riverdale Neighborhood House is a nonsectarian, multipurpose social services organization that provides a range of educational, transitional housing and medical care services for socioeconomic, racial and ethnic groups. It provides character building programs for teenagers, as well as support for families and senior citizens. The organization features a lounge, swimming pool, and basketball and tennis courts, as well as a recreational area that includes a pool table, air hockey and video games.
