General Info:

The Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festivals have been an Albuquerque tradition for 30 years, but are recognized nationally amongst the top 20 shows in the nation. Held three times a year in March, October and November, these juried art events boast an amazing array of unique works handmade by artisans. Shop to your heart's content as you meet the artists and learn about their work. Besides great shopping, enjoy live entertainment like mariachis and local musicians while you grab a bite to eat or sip a margarita; watch dozens of artist's demonstrations, from pottery making to glass work; sample and purchase local salsas and foods in the Culinary Arts row. Kids of all ages love the complimentary Kid's Creation Station. October's two weekend show, is the original art festival coinciding with Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta, but is held across the freeway in a huge tent at Sandia Resort and Casino.
