Opened in October 2003, the Rex Wellness Center of Garner is located on Timber Drive East and is one of the newest Rex Wellness Centers in North Carolina. Headquartered in Garner, N.C., Rex Healthcare is a private, nonprofit health care system that has provided care to Wake County and the surrounding area since 1894. The Rex hospital campus is the heart of its network of services. It includes a 394-bed acute care hospital, family birth center, cancer center, convalescent care center, same day surgery center, heart and vascular center and wellness center.
