Reliable Contracting has been exactly that for the past 75 years. It has grown from an operation founded by two brothers who hauled dirt into an employer of more than 500 people that specialize in heavy highway, commercial and site development construction. The company provides grading, utilities, asphalt paving and site development work. Based in Millersville, Md., Reliable Contracting s recent completed projects have included construction of Beechtree Lake, a 43-acre body of water with a 6-foot pipe outfall; the Piscataway Sewer Outfall, a 15,000-square-foot sewer outfall; and the Eastgate Triple Box Culvert, a four-by-five-foot culvert for the entrance of an existing and expanding shopping center. The Beechtree Lake project received the ABC Excellence in Construction Project award.
