Rejoice! began as a transplanted "mission congregation" and continues to value the need to be a congregation in mission. The congregation seeks to honor its tradition while innovatively addressing the needs of the present and of the future. As a congregation that generously reaches out to the community, members do everything from feeding hundreds of families for Thanksgiving meals, to participating in Habitat for Humanity, work camps for both youth and adults, laboring at homeless shelters serving food, giving clothes, quilts and the list goes on. The typical worship service fits somewhere between traditional and praise with numerous vocal and instrumental groups that add to the richness of the experience.
