Founded in 1959, Reagent Chemical & Research supplies, manufactures and distributes hydrochloric acid, sulfur products and clay targets. A division of the company, ProSys, fabricates manual, semiautomatic and fully automatic equipment for filling cartridges, squeeze tubes, syringes and rigid containers for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical and sealant industries. Reagent Chemical has a single-product line of sulfur. It is among the largest marketers and distributors of aqueous hydrochloric acid in the United States. In 1979, Reagent Chemical entered the clay target with the purchase of White Flyer Targets from Olin Industries, the manufacturer of Winchester ammunition and other products. White Flyer operates in Coal Township, Pa., San Bernardino, Calif., Webb City, Mo., and Canada. ProSys is a global supplier of filling equipment with United States sales, manufacturing and customer service facilities located in southwest Missouri and satellite sales, parts and service facilities in Asia, Latin America and Australia.
