The product line includes autopilots, radar, instruments, fishfinders, chartplotters and communications devices, together with multifunction and integrated products. Raymarine s products are used by leisure boaters in an attempt to enhance their enjoyment and safety whilst out on the water. Raymarine s products are typically fitted to power and sail boats of between 20 and 100 feet in length. Raymarine acquired Raytheon s Recreational Marine Division in a management buy-out in 2001. Since the buy-out, the group has invested significantly in the growth and profitability of the business, with particular focus being placed on developing new products and on strengthening the sales and marketing teams.
