The RASA Surgical First Assistant program leads to National Certification through the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA). RASA’s program online leads to the nationally recognized SA-C Certification through the ABSA (ABSA.net). The ABSA has been certifying Surgical Assistants and First Assistants for over 25 years. Becoming a SA-C provides you with credentials that portray you have acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to competently assist the surgeon in surgery.
With our Wound Closure Training System™, you will master basic through advanced suture and tying surgical skills. Our Wound Closure Training System™ provides easy to follow online video instruction. The video instruction compliments your practice at home. The Wound Closure Training System comes with a multi-layer abdominal simulator, basic instruments and suture.
