It is our goal to continue to provide state-of-the-art veterinary care for your pets. Our philosophy at Ramsey Veterinary is simple but focused. We provide the highest level of quality care to our patients and their owners. Should your pet need to be hospitalized, he/she will be cared for by a team of doctors and technicians who will tend to his/her medical and diagnostic needs. Each team member is aware of your pet's condition and will be available to speak with you every day. You are encouraged to visit when you can. We will care for your pet as if he/she were one of our own and do whatever we can to make you both as comfortable as possible. Since the early 1970's Ramsey Veterinary Hospital has been serving our clients and their pets with the latest and most comprehensive veterinary care available. For the past 12 years, we have achieved 4-year accreditation status from the American Animal Hospital Association. This accreditation assures the highest standard of veterinary care to our patients and that our hospital meets and exceed all necessary requirements to practice veterinary medicine. Our staff includes three full-time veterinarians, a hospital manager, receptionists and veterinary technicians. We are a full- service veterinary hospital designed to meet all the needs you may have for the best medical care for your pet. Ramsey Veterinary Hospital, located in Northern Bergen County, is dedicated to the care and treatment of small animals including dogs, cats and small mammals. Ramsey Veterinary Hospital has been a member of the American Animal Hospital Association ( AAHA ) since 1994. Only 14% of veterinary practices throughout the United Stated and Canada participate with AAHA's regular on-site evaluations based on over 800 standards of care in the following areas: patient care, pain management, emergency and urgent care, contagious disease, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and evaluation, laboratory services, pharmacology, medical records, continuing education for doctors and technicians, housekeeping and maintenance, client services, human resources, and safety. By adhering to these rigorous standards, we feel we are able to offer our clients and their pets the highest standard of care possible.
