Q-Peak has been in the forefront of developing and producing leading-edge solid-state lasers since 1985. The company manufactures diode-pumped, solid-state lasers based on a number of components that can be arranged to provide a wide variety of operating configurations. Its laser systems are comprised of a laser head, a power supply/control unit and a cooling unit to maintain the laser crystal and diode pump sources at a constant temperature. Core technology is based on a diode-pumped gain module developed to operate with a number of different solid-state laser materials. Q-Peak can also provide standard nonlinear optics components for harmonic generation into the visible and ultraviolet wavelength regions. Q-Peak is located in Bedford, Mass. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Physical Sciences.
