We have been in business since 1998, have sold over 45, 000 Purifans, and have 11 patents either granted or pending on our unique air cleaning design. The Purifan was invented by Paul Fiacco, a geophysicist working in the oil industry. Paul's original vision was to help reduce second hand smoke and smoking odors by filtering the air in a very quiet, effective, but inexpensive way. And, he was successsful at realizing that vision. Today, Purifan has an appeal that stretches beyond the smoking market alone to include improving indoor air quality for allergies, Asthma and odors in homes, offices, day care operations, schools, businesses, nursing homes and many other unique application areas.
