Premium Standard Farms markets pork to domestic retailers, processors, food service providers and export customers in more than 20 countries. The operating groups of the company consist of production and processing. Its production operations are based at Princeton, Mo.; Dalhart, Texas; and Clinton, N.C. The company staffs more than 1,800 employees in its production operations. Its more than 300,000-square-foot facility in Milan employs over 950 people, processing 7,000 animals daily. Its 800,000-square-foot facility in Clinton employs more than 1,200 people, processing over 9,000 animals daily. Premium Standard Farms maintains a location in Tarboro, N.C.
