Poughkidsie was created by a local family and with families in mind, and thoughtful, creative, imaginative exploration is what we are all about. At Poughkidsie, our mission is to be an innovative and spirited studio engaging children, birth to teens, in interactive, imaginative, thoughtful, and creative play and crafts. Our 5,000 sq ft space includes a play village encouraging hands-on, creative play for children up to age 8, and a craft studio offering walk-in projects, classes, and workshops for all ages. We have two party rooms for birthdays and other special events, and our coffee and snack bar features specialty food and drinks from local Hudson Valley merchants.
