America's Founding Story, located in the picturesque, colonial, seaside town of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Plimoth Plantation is a short drive south of Boston located at the beginning of Cape Cod Bay. A living history museum dedicated to telling the history of early Plymouth Colony from the perspective of both the English Pilgrims and the Indigenous People who have lived here for over 12,000 years, the museum features the 17th-Century English Village, Wampanoag Homesite, Craft Center and Henry Hornblower Visitor Center with an exhibit gallery featuring "History in a New Light: Illuminating the Archaeology of Patuxet and Plymouth", theater, retail stores and a cafe. Other offsite exhibits that you may include in a multi-site ticket are the Plimoth Grist Mill and the Mayflower, located in historic downtown Plymouth on the waterfront. Downtown sites are 2 miles from the main campus, you will need your own transportation.
