The Shopkeepers Meet the Shopkeepers: Don and Joyce Wilkin The Wilkins have owned Bardstown Plantation Furniture for over 25 years. Their original shop was located at 112 N. 3rd Street and remained open through 2013 when they permanently moved across the street to 127 N. 3rd Street. Joyce and her team of shoppers work together to bring unique items back to Bardstown. They visit markets and meet with furniture makers across the country to stay up-to-date on trends and traditions. BPF is a little bit of history, furniture, art, accessories, and unique finds all rolled into one adventure. Be sure to stop by and say hello to Don and Joyce when you are visiting downtown Bardstown. Our showroom located in Bardstown, Kentucky is full of pieces and inspirations that you can take home with you. If you prefer to create a custom look we can also assist. We have established partnerships with brands such as Taylor King and Biltmore Fine Furniture just to name a few. Our showroom also features multiple catalogs that you can browse at your leisure without the pressure you might find at large box stores. In addition to catalogs we offer racks full of current fabric samples that you can pull and touch to help you create a unique custom look.
