Philadelphia Language Centers goal is to deliver quality language services to its community with a primary focus on English as a Second Language.We also offer language services for Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, and Arabic. Our emphasis is usable real world language skills for our students in their target language. We meet these goals by combining book work, exercises and history and cultural activities as well as offering the students the opportunity to study with a professor who is native to their target language.
We are an open enrollment school and students can join a class at any time. Our classes are a total of 64 hours or 16 weeks. We have levels 1 to 10 in each language that we serve. We give a placement test to each student to see what level is best suited for the student. Please come in today and learn a new language!

We have 12 highly qualified teachers that have a masters degree in education and have a wide range of professional language training and experience. What makes our school standout is our small classroom setting; we have 4-10 students per class. The small classroom provides attention to detail for each student needs and comfort for each student to participate in classroom activities and learn at a faster pace than a large classroom setting. We also offer private lessons and tutoring for each student, should they need extra time or attention.
We also have TESOL certification courses for students that would like to become an English teacher in the U.S. or abroad.
