General Info:

Phase North is a special education program that serves young adults between the ages of 18 and 21 with developmental cognitive disabilities and severe multiple impairments. It provides individualized instruction in various transition areas, including home living, community, leisure and recreation. The program focuses on the vocational development of individuals. Phase North also offers services for individuals with autism, emotional and behavioral disorders, and speech, language, vision and hearing impairments. It provides classes in various subjects, such as literacy, math and writing. Through family collaboration, the program develops social learning and transition plans for individuals. In addition, it conducts personal care and domestic skills training classes in the areas of food preparation, grooming and laundry. Phase North is administered by Intermediate District 287.
