History: Phalanx Tactical Security group PLLC ( hereafter referred to as PTSG) is a start up security company in Phoenix Arizona. PTSG was the brainchild of three highly trained, professional guards. They decided there was a need to change the public’s perception of a typical “security guard” who is reactive instead of proactive. PTSG is a veteran owned and operated company that prides itself on helping fellow vets. At PTSG veterans are given Veteran’s day off or can opt to receive holiday pay (not billed to the client) if they want to work that day. Training: All PTSG guards are licensed by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. They have met the requirements mandated by the state (8 hour unarmed training class & 16 hour armed training class). In addition to these classes all guards will be required to qualify with their firearms (with PTSG resident NRA, state of Arizona licensed security trainer) at a higher standard than the state mandates, which will be conducted every 4 to 6 months. All PTSG guards will also have continued training in Arizona private security laws (i.e. laws of arrest by a private citizen & use of force continuum training). All guards will be certified in CPR, AED, and emergency first aid provided by the company. PTSG also recommends its guards take self defense training and stay in adequate physical shape for optimal job performance. At PTSG we strive for safety of all employees and clients, which is why we mandate such a strict training regimen. Mission statement: PTSG is a PLLC and not just an LLC. Most, if not all, other security companies are an LLC. We decided this was needed for the fact that we hold our company and guards to a higher level of professionalism. The owners of PTSG have many years of personal experience in the field as armed security guards, knowing the details of field operations, as well as upper management experience and inner workings of company processes. Many security companies claim to have the highest trained and most professional guards, however if you ask the management or salesmen details about guards and who is trained in which disciplines, they would not be able to honestly answer you. The owners of PTSG are dedicated to staying connected to operations and unlike typical owners, we will be active in the field to stay in tune with our employee and client needs. At PTSG we won’t just hand out contracts to be signed, but rather take the time to walk the property with a representative of your company to assess your realistic security needs and customize a security plan and schedule unique to your property. Our company’s’ proactive approach has a proven track record of reducing your calls for service to local law enforcement while ensuring the safety & security of your interests.
