Our first question to you will be "Who is your veterinarian"?How is my pet transported back to the cremation facility?Your pet will be gently placed into one of our vehicles and then driven back to our cremation facility in Trussville.How long will it take to get my pet's cremains back?We guarantee to have your pet's cremains available for return to you within 48 to 72 hours from time of pick up. Special orders will be slightly longer.How do I know I am getting my pet's cremains back?We utilize a stainless steel pet tracker ID system to guarantee that your pet's cremains are returned to you.Can I choose a different urn other than the ones which are provided with the cremation packages?Yes. Simply tell your veterinarian you wish to have Pets at Peace pick up your pet or you may even call us directly and allow us to make the necessary arrangements. Do your homework! Some crematories in the area return pets back in a tin can or velvet bag and can take up to a week to return your pet. A paw print and lock of hair may not be included in their cremation package. Can I make arrangements with Pets at Peace to handle the aftercare of my pet before my pet actually passes on?Yes. Simply call us or your veterinarian so that we can make the necessary arrangements. When the time comes to take care of your pet, we already have the information needed.
