At the Performing Arts Connection we have offered training in dance and performing arts in the greater Peninsula area for over 20 years. With over 60 combined years of experience in dance instruction, professional choreography, direction and musical theatre along with on-going training from nationally known instructors, PAC's highly qualified Faculty ensures quality, well-rounded dance training for all students. PACs director is Valerie Muth. CLASSES: PAC offers classes In BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, HIP HOP, CONTEMPORARY, MODERN, POINTE, FITNESS DANCE and YOGA. We teach ALL LEVELS, from beginning to pre-professional, and we offer classes for AGES 18 months through ADULT. PAC has specialty classes for our youngest of students: The YOUNG DANCER classes offer ballet in combination with either Tap or Jazz in a one hour format for 3 to 5 year olds. Our ME and MY SHADOW class is a mommie and me class for the littlest of dancers, ages 18 months to 3 years old. Our moms, dads and grandparents love these fun pre-school classes that promote fitness and music appreciation! WORKSHOPS and MASTER CLASSES: The Community and the Performing Arts Connection Student are offered Workshops and Master Classes throughout the year to enrich their comprehensive training. An exciting variety of special classes in the performing arts and exposure to professional guest instructors from both local and regional areas along with varied performance disciplines will enhance each student's training. PERFORMANCE: PAC is dedicated to enhancing each student's performance skills and abilities in dance, voice and theatre arts. Performing is an enjoyable and exciting way for students to gain confidence, improve communication skills and experience a sense of achievement. Our HOLIDAY SHOWCASE and the spring-time ANNUAL SHOWCASE provide students with an opportunity to perform and share their accomplishments with family, friends and the community. PAC FACILITY: The PAC studios are conveniently located at 2603 West Mercury Blvd. in midtown Hampton, VA and features a large hardwood ballroom and satellite studio as well as a waiting area for parents and separate dressing areas for students.
