Founded in 1992, Family Preservation Services of Virginia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Providence, which also provides services in Virginia through a management contract with Family Preservation Community Services. The agency develops and manages activity centers for at-risk youths that provide several referral and comprehensive health care services, including drug and gang prevention, transportation, parent education, and computer and job training.
