Paola Christian Church is an independent non-denominational Christian Church. It sounds fancy, but in its very nature is quite simple. We are independent from outside rule and influence. This means that we are a self-governing Church that is independent of all outside direction and influence. We select our own leaders and ministers. In addition we are also independent financially. This dictates that all financial needs are met within the congregation and we determine how the money is to be used to further the Kingdom of God. Being a non-denominational Christian church simply means that we are not a member of a particular denomination such as Baptist, Lutheran, Roman Catholic, Methodist, etc. Being non-denominational does not mean that we are anti-denominational or practice a different type of religion. At Paola Christian Church we minister to people and families who simply believe in the Bible for answers to all the questions of life. The emphasis of what we do points to bringing people closer to God in their own personal relationship with Him. We, at Paola Christian Church, are a collection of individuals who have made a conscious effort to put God at the forefront of everything we do.. We have strived to eliminate as much of the politics that so many Churches today maintain. We do not have a "Church Board"; we do not vote or have "meetings to discuss meetings". We base our direction on the guidance of the Holy Spirit through which God has appointed Elders to guide His flock. We have appointed Deacons to physically serve in the needs of God's people.
