General Info:
Pace Industries' EST Central Division was founded in 1947 by two mechanical engineers, Ed Sandhame and Ed Troy, both with backgrounds in aluminum castings and foundry processes. The company quickly found its niche providing permanent mold aluminum castings for a variety of markets. In 1952, The EST Division incorporated and moved to its current site still producing permanent mold castings. In 1968, responding to the growing need for furniture components, Pace Industries' EST Division purchased a high pressure die casting machine and began producing die cast bases for office seating and home furnishings.
