Overstreet Taekwondo Academy, a member of Tiger Rock Martial Arts, is the only full time martial arts academy in the Alamogordo area. We offer traditional Taekwondo training in four age groups:Tiger Cubs: 4-5Juniors 6-11Youth 12-15Adults 16 and up.As the exclusive Tiger Rock Martial Arts franchise in the Alamogordo area, we offer a copyrighted and continually updated curriculum delivered by annually qualified trainers. Tiger Rock updates our program based on the best of modern sports science to avoid repetitive motion injuries and maximize biomechanical principles for power. Tiger Rock also updates the delivery of the material based on the latest developments in the field of education to maximize each student's learning opportunity.Our Adult Strength and Conditioning classes can be a stand alone intense interval workout that includes two bag workout segments. Our Adult Taekwondo students are also encouraged to attend our Strength and Conditioning classes to improve their performance and overall fitness.Our grappling program teaches the core ground curriculum needed for confidence on the ground. Grappling classes are physically challenging, but designed to minimize the risk of injury and maximize fun.The first step of a journey is often the hardest so we have made it quick and easy with our $19 starter course.
