About One Yoga & Wellness Center One Yoga Center began in 2000 when I started teaching a few Gentle & Hatha Yoga classes locally in the East Windsor, NJ area. As I saw the need for yoga grow rapidly in the community, I decided to open my own yoga center in October 2003, offering many yoga classes for adults and children. Within just two and a half years, One Yoga quickly outgrew its small space. While the small, intimate setting had been a sanctuary for many students offering a personalized class atmosphere, we were in need of more space to accommodate the growing need for Yoga in the community. In the Spring of 2006 we expanded to a larger facility expanded to a larger facility on Route 130, and changed our name to One Yoga & Wellness Center. Here we have been able to significantly increase the number of yoga classes and add various levels and styles of yoga to meet all the needs of our students from the true beginner to the more advanced student. We also offer very extensive yoga teacher training programs in Hatha, Vinyasa and Advanced programs of study that have been met by the Yoga Alliance's approval. In our new, larger facility we strived to provide the same atmosphere and level of compassion for our students only with more wellness options. In our new space we have the capacity to incorporate many other modalities in addition to the core Yoga programs such as: Massage Therapy, Spa Treatments, Pilates mat classes, Nutritional Counseling, Personal Training and more wellness options. Space is available to rent for special workshops, regular classes, or office space. I am very excited that One Yoga & Wellness Center is once again about to expand this time by opening a second small studio in Ewing, NJ. In a way, we are going back to our roots by opening a small one-room center to service the greater Ewing area and bring yoga to the community. However, this second location will have the benefit of our experienced teachers as well as discounts on workshops at the East Windsor location. In addition, students will be able to use class passes ( 6-week or monthly ) at both locations doubling the ability to find a yoga class to suite their needs.
