Situated on nearly 30 acres with 90,000-square-feet of precast production space under roof and an additional 60,00-sqaure-feet of prestress production line outdoors, Utility Vault s manufacturing plant produces 450 cubic yards of concrete products in a single shift. The facility s primary equipment includes individual computer controlled batch plants with underground aggregate storage, 15-ton bridge cranes, 40- and 60-ton mobile gantry cranes and a variety of forklifts ranging in capacity from 5,000 to 50,000 pounds. Delivery of products is accomplished with more than 10 15-ton boom trucks. Utility Vault manufactures a range of precast concrete products that include utility vaults for power, communication, gas and water; meterboxes, pull boxes and polymer concrete products; concrete pilings; and floating concrete dock systems. The company manufactures products for a variety of industries, such as utilities, transportation, environmental, drainage, building systems and other miscellaneous needs. Utility Vault, part of Oldcastle Precast Group, has a location in Fontana, Calif.
