O Keeffe s is a privately-owned and operated company. The organization has provided standard and custom architectural products to the building industry for more than 60 years. O Keeffe s is recognized throughout the world by specifiers and builders for its fire and safety-rated glass, framing and curtain wall; standard and custom skylights; fixes-access ladders, ship ladders and cage ladders; roof hatches and safety posts; smoke and fire vents; and reglets. O Keeffe s began as a small San Francisco sheet metal shop in 1934. The company is a pioneer in the use of patented aluminum extrusions and obtained the patent on the first extruded aluminum skylight system in 1951. O Keeffe s is a member of several organizations, such as the American Architectural Manufacturer s Association and National Glass Association.
