About Officiency, Inc Officiency is dedicated to increasing productivity and efficiency in businesses throughout the nation. Since 1996, we have worked in large and small business, government and non-profit organizations to help people automate and streamline their company operations. Officiency provides consulting and training programs that help employees learn to be more effective and productive in the workplace. We strive to make the environment and the community part of our mission and values. We encourage clients to become paperless' and utilize their electronic systems for managing data. We recycle as much waste as possible during our organizing sessions and office relocations and utilize local recycling and reuse resources. We also donate 2% of our profits in service to Colorado non-profits as part of The Community Foundation Program. We also offer sustainability consulting services with our sister organization, eco-officiency. McCorry is an excellent communicator and has gained a great understanding of how companies and people operate through her vast experience. K.J. founded Officiency, Inc, in 1996 when she recognized the need for organizational help in the workplace. K.J.'s work in office process simplification has been recognized in the International Herald Tribune, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Better Homes & Gardens, Denver Business Journal, Real Simple, Mobility Magazine and many others. She has been a regular contributor to the Boulder County Business Report since 2001. She has also appeared on TV and radio on the Do It Yourself Network, The Peter Boyles Show, Organization Nation, and local news broadcasts. She is the author of Organize Your Work Day in No Time, published by Que/Pearson Education in 2005. She is currently working on her second book on The Paperless Office due for release in 2010. Ms. McCorry was nominated twice by her peers for the prestigious Founders Award with the National Association of Professional Organizing, recognizing leaders who have furthered the professional organizing industry. She was also selected as a finalist for the 2008 Oppenheimer Funds Entrepreneur of the Year Award, who recognizes entrepreneurs who have successfully built businesses and positively impacted the community. Ms. McCorry received her BA in Psychology and International Business from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado ; and an Executive Masters in Business from the University of Denver.
