The Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been operational for more than 45 years ands offers a range of medical services, including short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled care to meet the individual needs of its residents. It can accommodate up to 140 residents and offers daily nursing, pharmacy, dietary and social services for all residents and patients. The center includes a separate 20-plus-bed unit for the residents who suffer from Alzheimer s disease and other forms of dementia. It also offers physical, occupational, speech and language therapies. Additionally, the center provides a range of other services, including nutritional counseling, on-site mobile X-rays, home therapy assessments, optometry, dental care and podiatry. It is a part of Kindred Healthcare, which operates several long-term acute care hospitals, skilled nursing centers and a contract rehabilitation services business through its subsidiaries across the United States. The Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is located in Pawtucket, R.I.
