Building his first transmission from the ground up at the age of 14, Mike learned at an early age exactly what he wanted to do when he grew up. In 1982 Michael began his dream job of starting a transmission company and after many years of happy clients, National Transmission has become a name in the city of Elkhart and surrounding area that people trust. Whether your vehicles tranny is in need of a scheduled service, or you're looking for automatic or manual clutch repair, CV axle's, wheel bearings, and/or electronic diagnostics, were here to help you get back on the road. In cases in which you decided to throw the vehicle in reverse while driving down the highway, we also do complete transmission rebuilds.
