The National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church is dedicated to Mary and all mothers. Our mission is to promote a true appreciation of motherhood, the preciousness of life and the integrity of the family. The Shrine has become known as The Mother's Shrine because of our Mother's Wall of Life. We have a beautiful outdoor grotto where we celebrate pilgrimages, mass, and other celebrations. The Shrine was dedicated in 1992 with the installation of the sculpture of Mary. It was formally designated a National Shrine in 2003. We have a church on site, St. Patrick's Shrine Church. We also have a gift shop and we have several festivals throughout the year. Christmas Festival of Lights is from Thanksgiving to New Years. Come drive through and sip a hot beverage while you look in the gift shop. Our business office hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. The Shrine is open from 6am-10pm Daily.
