NATCON was founded in 2007 to provide top-tier security consulting and investigative services to discriminating corporate, government and private clients. NATCON’s founder and president, Dan Wright, completed a rewarding career in the FBI that included his assignment to the Los Angeles FBI Major Case Squad and senior management positions in the Violent Crime and Major Offenders Section at FBI headquarters in Washington, DC. Throughout his state and federal law enforcement career, Mr. Wright conducted and led a wide variety of complex investigations involving kidnappings, extortion, aviation crimes, cargo, art and jewelry theft, international drug trafficking, sensitive internal inquiries, and other investigations within the FBI’s organized crime and violent crime programs. As both a field and headquarters supervisor in the FBI's Criminal Investigative Division, his leadership responsibilities included national and international program management of the FBI’s major theft, transportation crime and special jurisdiction programs, while also directing interagency task force operations and developing new strategic case initiatives and policies. His investigative and leadership accomplishments required that he consistently establish effective partnerships with both government agencies and the private sector based on mutual trust and respect. NATCON’s offices are located in a new commercial center in northern Virginia just minutes from Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC.
