The company s products include polyvinyl cross links that provide water resistant bond characteristics, polyvinyl assembly adhesives, urea resins, resorcinol adhesives and a wide variety of powder adhesives including casein, melamine, melamine-urea blends, a straight urea powder adhesive and decorative paper. The company concentrates its sales, marketing and research efforts to the woodworking, furniture, millwork and paper converting and packaging industries. National Casein was founded in 1921 and incorporated in the state of Illinois. The company s product developments during the 1980 s to the present have included the introduction of water base contact adhesives and vinyl film laminating adhesives that provide high heat creep resistance, a new generation of high performance polyvinyl cross linking adhesives and adhesives for membrane pressing films and wood veneers. National Casein has plants located in Chicago, Tyler, Texas, Riverton, N.J., Santa Ana, Calif. and Scarborough, Ont., Canada. Warehouses are strategically located throughout the U.S. and Canada with distributors worldwide.
