Established in 1984, NANA/Lynden Logistics provides transportation and logistics services for the Red Dog Mine. Its logistics services include freight forwarding, consolidation, warehousing, distribution, packing and crating, order entry, fulfillment and support. NANA/Lynden Logistics additionally provides hazardous materials compliance, technical assistance, and information, inventory, supplier and contractor management services. It is a part of the NANA family of companies, which is a group of engineering, construction, resource development, facilities management, logistics, information technology and telecommunications companies. With more than 6,000 employees, the parent company, NANA Regional Corporation, was created in 1972 through the enactment of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act.
