My mission as a therapist is to empower individuals and couples to achieve their goals for a healthy, productive and fulfilling life. Together, in a confidential, supportive and respectful environment, we understand the obstacles that get in the way of truly meeting one's needs. We build on the unique inner strengths of each person or couple, and explore alternative and productive ways of coping. I work with couples to overcome their struggles, and enrich their relationship. I help them understand their own personal "baggage" that they bring in to the relationship, and move on to create the relationship that they always wanted. Couples learn better communication, understanding of each others feelings, and enhanced intimacy. Based on over 30 years of clinical experience, I have developed effective and practical strategies to help people identify the underlying causes of their problems, and find workable solutions. It is my belief that the relationship with one's self and others is paramount to one's emotional and physical health.
