Mount Calvary Lutheran Church - LCMS exists to preach Christ, and him crucified. Through the cross we have access to the Father. It is our privilege and task to administer the gifts God places in our midst: His Word and the holy Sacraments. Through these gifts, the Lord equips us to do good works for which He has created us. We seek to bring glory to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to follow Christ, to instruct and encourage Christians to become like Christ and to present Jesus to the world as Savior and Lord. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church belongs to The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, which teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church extends an invitation to you to be our guest at an upcoming divine service or midweek service. Please refer to our upcoming events page for more details. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church is located in Gunnison, Colorado at 711 N. Main. We offer Bible studies every Sunday at 9 A.M. with worship service at 10 A.M. During the summer months Mount Calvary Lutheran has a special service at Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch near Blue Mesa Reservoir. It starts at 7: 30 A.M. and is held in the main building.
