Mrs. Vingerber's is a delivery-only baker that is devoted to offering our customers the best ever in pure delicious sweets of all varieties...home-made, old-fashioned pies, cookies and cakes. I also make wedding cakes and many other sweets. I would also like to share a little bit of background about Mrs. Vingerber. She was actually born thirty-five years ago in a little girls imagination. One day when she was about four years old, she found a branch from a very large old oak tree that had the exact shape of a "Y". For some reason, then unknown* to others, she named it "Mrs. Vingerber" and treated it just as she did her most loved toys and dolls. Mrs. Vingerber became her symbol of something good and satisfying, and gave her a warm feeling all over when she needed a little something to make her day better. Now Mrs. Vingerber is once again repeating what she did for that little girl all over again by giving everyone who tries her sweets a very warm and satisfying feeling all over...guaranteed. *Later in life, Maria, the owner - told her parents the reason for the name...her mother had read and reread the story of "Mrs. Vinegar" which Maria loved very much, but when she tried to say vinegar, it always came out "vingerber". Now you know the secret for the name Mrs. Vingerber.
