Founded in 1936, Mirabeau B. Lamar High School is a part of the Houston Independent School District. The school serves more than 3,300 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science, history, geography and economics. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as music, dance, theatre, fine arts, and health and physical education. Mirabeau B.
