Blessings from Middleburg United Methodist Church Middleburg UMC is an amazing family of God. As pastor I am blessed by a caring congregation. As a church we offer opportunities for worship, Bible Study, fellowship and ministry.Our worship services are held each Lord's Day at 11 a.m. These services are filled with God's spirit. Our choir, directed by Karen Chase, lifts our hearts to the Lord as they bring us inspiring and exquisitely beautiful music. Our liturgists minster to us, as they lead us in worship. Our Acolytes bring us the light of Christ. Our ushers and greeters offer us welcome and hospitality.Our Bible Study opportunities begin on Sunday at 10 a.m. as Reggie Dawson teaches our adult class. Our children receive instruction after Children's time in the worship service. Parents of our children lead them in stories and crafts and fun relating to the lesson of the day. We offer short term Bible Studies usually taught by the Pastor. In fact, there will be one starting up the end of July entitled, "Men and Women of the Bible". Please check this site for days and times.Fellowship not only happens on Sundays after church, but actually any time we get together. There have been picnics and movie nights, pool parties and book studies, women's meetings and men's meetings opportunities abound.Ministry takes place everyday in the lives of our members. We believe that we minister not only at church, but wherever we are. This takes the form of our support of local ministries like FISH and the 7 Loaves Food Bank. Our United Methodist Women are always busy with a project and we busy ourselves with the Lord's work wherever the need arises.I have been Pastor of Middleburg UMC for one whole year now. My, how the time flies! I now can speak from my own knowledge of the church and the community. I have been so blessed here by the loving people of our congregation, but also by the community. I love your welcoming spirit and your care for one another. This place feels like home.
